Meet the newest member of the Mill Creek Team — Nick Giordano. Nick is our East-TN sales manager, responsible for pounding the pavement all over East-TN, getting fresh Mill Creek beers into your favorite bars, restaurants, and stores. As part of our new hire tradition here, we sat down for a quick interview with Nick so we can all learn a little bit more about him.

Citra hops are the greatest.
So what got you into beer?
My roommate in college and I would always try a different six pack every time we went to our local store. It solidified that everyone was making good beer, and made me want to keep trying new things. After that- I decided I wanted to start home brewing, and now it’s consumed my life ever since!
What do you love about East Tennessee?
One of the most open and friendly communities I have ever experienced. Also, all the beautiful scenery makes it an awesome place to live. Plenty of beer communities are all around so it is a great hub as well.
Outside of the brewery- what’s your favorite thing to do?
Rock climbing, hiking, and really anything outside. Home brewing of course, and you gotta love Tennessee football.
What attracted you to Mill Creek?
Besides the beer- it’s a really good group of awesome people who share my passions and want to challenge me to help build an awesome company and brewery.
If you could randomly find your beer on tap anywhere in the world- where would you be?
The Schilthorn Piz Gloria in the Swiss Alps. (that cool bar from 007)
So if you were on a deserted island, what 5 beers would you bring along?
Cantillon, PBR, Heady Topper, Anything from Trillium, and also anything from Jester King.
