It all started with a family trip to the Smoky Mountains. Our founder, Chris, a guitar teacher turned avid homebrewer, set out to craft some suds that his light-beer loving brother-in-law would not only drink but enjoy throughout the vacation. Chris tweaked some traditional styles and other recipes he’d been working on, and focused on making beer that would just taste good. The verdict? Mission accomplished. And so Mill Creek Brewing Co. was born.
A few years later, Becky Hammond came on to complete the brewing team, taking the brewery from a homebrewed dream to a full on production facility, pumping out thousands of gallons of beer each week. Tyler Dishman joined shortly after to head up the sales team, spreading the word about the Mill Creek way and the glorious liquid in your glass.
Located in the beautiful town of Nolensville, just a short drive south of Nashville, this hard-working brewery proudly offers a variety of beers that are full of flavor, never overwhelming, and perfect for just about anything, whether it’s a weekend in the Smokies or a night out with friends.

Founder and CEO
Our CEO takes great pride in two things: his guitar skills and his ability to create beer that both dyed-in-the-wool domestic drinkers and craft beer devotees rave about. In addition to his 6 years of homebrew experience, Chris is a certified and experienced BJCP beer judge and holds a certification from the Beer Cicerone Program.
Fun Fact: She eats Flintstone Vitamins every morning.
Becky Hammond, our brewmaster, heads up all brewing operations. A love of drinking beer, and a backpacking trip changed the course of her life, creating a passion to pursue a life in brewing. While Becky is a Nashville native, she and her pink boots bring a wealth of knowledge from her time spent in the brewing scene in Richmond, Virginia.
Fun Fact: Had a Fu Manchu for a day.
Meet Jason Grime. Like others on our team, Jason’s first love was music. However, a passion for home brewing shifted his career path. Jason comes to us from the local beer scene where he has worked in breweries of all sizes and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our operation.
Director of Sales
An East-TN native, Tyler brings the down to earth swagger to our team. With a background in the restaurant biz and a stint selling beer for another brewery, Tyler brings a wealth of knowledge about pretty much anything in the beer and food scene. When not out hustling beer, you can probably find him hustling out on a soccer field, enjoying high end cuisine, or rooting for his beloved Tennessee Volunteers.
East-TN Sales Manager
Heading up our East-TN Sales is Nick G, a Nashville transplant based in Knoxville. Having spent a number of years on the draft service side of the industry, Nick is well versed in all things beer, both on the brewing side as well as serving. If you ever find yourself sitting beside him, you’ll find what we’ve all discovered. You’ll never find a nicer guy.
Alabama Sales Manager
Fun Fact: Can burp full sentences.
Jacob covers sales for our entire Alabama market and knows the beer business backward and forward. From Texas to Georgia to the Heart of Dixie, his years of experience deepen Mill Creek. When he’s not out drinking Silo, you can find him on a hike, playing disc golf, or battling it out, paintball style.
Kentucky Sales Manager
Fun Fact: Hasn’t been clean-shaven in nine years.
This seasoned chef joined the craft beer bandwagon after years in the hospitality industry. From beer buyer and bar manager to First Level Cicerone and distributor sales rep, he rolls experience by the barrel. When he’s not our slingin’ beer he’s cheering for Bayern Munich or diving into sci-fi books.
Marketing and Event Manager
Fun Fact: Has won two spicy wing eating competitions.
A New Yorker converted Southerner, Camille brings her get-it-done attitude, running our marketing and everything in-between. Up-front and behind-the-scenes, she makes sure you sud-sippers always know what’s going on. When not narrating the Mill Creek story, you can find her climbing on rocks and covered in chalk.
Content Creator/Brand Ambassador
A photo/video expert and new Nashvillian, Max produces all the content you see rolling across your feeds. After studying digital media and finishing up school at the Contemporary Music Center, he began freelancing around Music City. Now you can catch him camera in-hand, skating across the brewery floor and at events slinging beer and toasting pints.
